Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" features a distinctive blend of instruments that create its iconic sound. The song prominently utilizes a funky clavinet, which provides a rhythmic, percussive texture that drives the groove. Complementing the clavinet are brass sections, bass guitar, and drums, all of which contribute to the song's energetic and soulful vibe. This rich instrumentation enhances the themes of superstition and belief, making the track both engaging and memorable.
This recording is in the key of E=flat so unless you tune your guitar down a half step, it will be hard to recreate the sound. The recording also has no guitar on it, it is a clavinet keyboard.

I wish I had the answer, I've owned the vinyl album since 1977 and to this day I still don't know who played the guitar on Chameleon or why there is no mention of a guitarist in the credits. I thought maybe it was a clavinet made to sound like a guitar.
