A nebula is a cloud of dust and gas in space. Some of the clouds block out the light from the stars behind. These are called dark nebulae. One of the best-known is the Horsehead Nebula. Other dust clouds reflect the light from the stars and shine brightly. These are called bright nebulae. :
Edit: The Great Orion Nebula is M42. M43 is a close nebula close to M42.
The eye of god is a Helix nebula. Close to a Planetary nebula.
The nearest supernova, or more correctly supernova remnant is the Vela [See Link]. It occurred around 11 - 12,000 years ago. Not only is it the oldest, but it is also the closest at about 800 light years.
Goyang Orions was created in 1997.
Yes, Nebula's die. They die when they get to close to Black Holes.
The Helix Nebula is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Aquarius, while the Ring Nebula is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Lyra. The Helix Nebula appears more like a disk or helix shape, while the Ring Nebula appears as a ring or donut shape due to its orientation.
It is called Saiph

Which Nebula? Astronomically speaking, no it does not. In our lifetime, we will not come anywhere near to a nebula. If your thinking of the Andromeda Galaxy then - well expect galactic fireworks - but not for about 3 billion years. [See related question]
An ionization nebula is typically found in regions where there are hot, massive stars that emit high-energy ultraviolet radiation. These nebulae are commonly located in the spiral arms of galaxies, near star-forming regions or in clusters of young, hot stars.
