First of all, Computer system, and it can pertain to any number of a very wide variety of systems but more familiar to the household consumer is their individual computer. A laptop or a desktop. You could however be talking about a computer system in the context of a network or system of computers communicating over a local area network or even further into a WAN or a wide area network.
