Yes, positive thinking and hope are ideal when dealing with this debilitating disease as it gives the patient a peace of mind, but there are only treatments so far. Some technology DOES exist in minimizing the health threats of diabetes such as blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, obesity, high cholesterol, and etc. but these are steps which you need to discuss with your primary care physician as it regards YOU, an individual person.
