A customized coat is a coat that a user on Howrse has submitted using the Black Pearl. You may buy one of these coats for a specific horse of yours for one pass in the black market.
To buy a coat, go to the black market and click on the Golden Apple icon. Choose the horse you'd like to receive the coat. Choose the coat, and click the button at the bottom of the page to give it to your horse. It costs one pass.
To create a coat, you will need to draw it on an online image editor or scan it on to your computer. Once you have done this, go to the black market and buy a black pearl. Click 'Browse' to find the image you'd like to use, and click the button at the bottom of the page to send it. The black pearl costs four passes, and is not always in stock.

No, the foal will have a normal coat.
The Black Pearl is a BM Item that allows you to create a coat (golden apple) for a horse. The coat can be customised for any species besides Specials and Divines. For only 2 passes at the Black Market, you can publish your creation on Howrse for everyone to use. It's fantastic and fun! It can be quite tricky and technical when making it though. no but you have to obey the rules and have a black pearl
The Black Market page of the Black Pearl on howrse states that "You get 1 pass for every 5 players that pick your coat, limited to 40 passes by coat", so no. Not every time.
You need a black pearl, which is rarely available.
You cant you can create a coat. But no breed variations. My user name on howrse is 899bubble to add me as a friend!
Some what yes and no. Beacuse in a ratio on howrse the dapple gray coat is 7% witch means it is rare but not so much. Most common would be 12% and least common would be 2%.
