In Catholic religion the rule or job of a deacon is seems like a servant to assist the priest carefully, in order to pleased by the priests in order for him to be promoted to the next level to be a priest.

they do lots of different jobs throughout the church and these jobs are important and that makes a deacon important because of the jobs they do.
