It's not connected to the cover. The pressure plate is bolted to the flywheel with the clutch disc sandwiched in between.

Right under the screen there's a cover saying "Navigation Disc". Look around the edges and there will be only one tab that's really annoying to pop without fingernails. Get it unclipped and pull the cover off. On the right of the slot is a eject button.
It's usually found inside the disc cover as a sticker, or printed on the back of the manual.
