How do you reset a e500 mercedes benz drive cycle
what is the drive cycle of Toyota solara 2002
to reset the old codes you must drive it for atleast an entire drive cycle
You take out the battery and reinsert it.
What sensors??? Tire pressure sensors? You can reset the tire pressure sensors through the instrument cluster
I have a 1998 dodge stratus and the obd inspection results are showing notcomplete or unsupported. I have been told to drive the car so the computer can reset. What is the drive cycle for this car. Disconnect the battery.
If you have made the correct repairs, a short drive will clear the light.
There are 2 possible ways to reset the computer, 1. if it doesnt have a "hard" code in it then you can just disconnect the battery wait for 5mins then reconnect the battery. 2. have a repair shop put the OBD tester on it extract the codes (hopefully fix any codes there) then clear the codes this will reset the computer it will take a completed drive cycle to see if the problem returns. In both cases normal driving will take a couple of days to do the drive cycle and to get all the sensors back online.
Varies, a couple of weeks should be enough.
unhook the battery for about a minute or so, then reconnect!
