an echocardiograph is a test done to see if the heart is beating correctly, or if there are any irregularities with the heartbeat. It is done by placing a number of electrical sensors or "leads" on various parts of the body and measuring the electrical signal at each point. These electrical signals tell us if the heart muscle cells are polarizing and depolarizing the way they should be
