The Vietnam war, Which was in fact not realy a war but a police action.
The United States didn't fight against South Vietnam in fact they were allies fighting against North Vietnam.
Q who was the victor of the Vietnam war? A I have no idea who won the Vietnam war!!!!
At the time of the Vietnam war they claimed that they were helping the Vietnamese people being taken over by the communists to the north. The fact is that like today the are doing as they were told by the USA.
For now, we have very limited proof that the Koren War was bloodier. This is basically because the wars were fought during completely different times. The technological development from Korea to Vietnam was immense. So i would have to say that ultimately the Vietnam war was bloodier than the Korean War for the U.S. We lost more soldiers in Vietnam than any other war and knowing this fact, one can conclude that the Vietnam War was more bloodier.
No, the Vietnam War was in Vietnam
No way. Many people were against the war and protested it. in fact, there are many songs from the 60s that are about protesting the war.
the Vietnam War
Vietnam was at war with France before the US intervened in the sixties. In fact, they defeated the French in 1956 and became independent, but divided into North Vietnam and South Vietnam. The Vietnam war the US was in was the result of the North and their communist sympathizers in the South (the Viet Cong) trying to unite the country under communism. When the US pulled out in 1975, they were successful.
More Americans died in the Civil War (625,000) than in any other war in history. In fact, more died in the Civil War than in WWII (405,399), WWI (116,516), Vietnam (58,151) and Korea (36,516) COMBINED.
