Little mice live in cheese factories, and have happy little families. Okay seriously, they live in forests and grasslands, and eat seeds and nuts that they find in the wild. Many mice end up in human environments, and eat their way into human food sources. the end.
I have seen some mice and they have had habits like:
. bitting their tails (which causes the tail to be weak and quite unmovable, STOP this behavior before it is too late!)
. Not chewing on hard surfaces to shorten their teeth (this is NOT good at all! Chewing it's teeth allows it to eat. Or the mouse will die.)
. Crashing into walls (either the mouse doesn't care about getting a flat face, or the mouse has a kind of cloudyness in their eyes, which if not treated, makes them blind.)
These kind of habits are hard to break and MUST be done. If you have a mouse that's got all of these and more, sorry for you.
The mouse is very small, therefore predators will find it hard to stop the mouse. Depending on which type of mouse you are talking about, most mouse are camouflages to their surrounding habitat. For example the field mouse is a dusty brown colour and crops are browny, greeny!
It depends. Do you mean pet mice or wild mice? Wild mice or common field mice are found in grassy areas, woodlands, near barns or outbuildings, or even inside people's homes. Mice can easily find small holes or cracks in mortar or boards and make their way inside buildings. Inside, they nest in crawl spaces, under floor-boards (between floors), and in the walls. They can choose spots from the attic to basement but most often nest close to food sources.
Pet mice have been bred, over generations of mice, from and creating one big family. They were originally "wild" with the first one captured, but through many, many years the mice became tamed. Handling from humans keeps the caged mice from reverting to wild behaviors. Pet mice are normally sold at any pet store.
Some mice like to go on trees but most prefrer to stay on the grounds. They will look for food in large fields.
A field mouse would live in fields, holes made by other people, and maybe in other people habitat
Ansswers from a real scientist
There are mice that live in the forests.
Yes, mice do live in Texas.
There are mice that live in the forests.
Mice can live anywhere where humans live and they prefer to live in human's houses
They live in burrows in the soft ground in the eastern hemispheres.. same with rats..
Several types of mice live in the tropical rainforest. Common mice, squirrels, lemurs, and several other rodents live here.
mice live in fields, your basement, outside, pet stores and also borrows
It live in a hole
definitely, field mice can live any wheres.
