A fixed choke is a choke that can not be removed or changed.
If it has choke tubes, yes. If it is fixed choke, no. I called Browning about mine and that was the answer they gave me.

The Invector Choke system was first introduced in 1983 and only available on Citori, BPS, and BT-99 models. Fixed choke barrels were still available as well. Please note that the Citori Lightning model wasn't introduced until 1988. All Citori Lightning models in 12, 16, and 20ga. were only available with the invector choke system (and still are). 28ga Lightning Citori's were still fixed choke only.
You probably have an alternator with bad diodesl have it checked, it is probably going out. Get that fixed first then see if the choke light goes out too.
As long as the owner's manual doesn't prohibit it.
Could be 1 of 2 things: failed choke heater itself of 12vdc not getting to the choke heater. There is a relay (located on the RH fender wall under the hood) you should have 12 volt anytime the ignition is in run.
The Savage Stevens Model 94 series typically features a fixed choke, which can vary by specific model and barrel length. Many of these shotguns are equipped with a full choke, but it's essential to check the specific markings on your shotgun or consult the owner's manual for accurate information. If you're unsure, a gunsmith can help identify the choke type.
