An iceberg. A piece of ice that has broken away from an icepack.
Salt increases the density of water, thus makes it easier to float.I've always had troubles floating while swimming in fresh water, but the difference when swimming in the sea is quite noticeable. There are many notes of people doing experiments with floating eggs with salt water versus fresh water.
i think it will rise slightly... according to Archimedes principle the weight of floating body is equal to water displaced by it.. and sea water has more density than fresh water and its weight will be more....so ship will slightly rise...
Sea water is more dense than fresh water because it contains dissolved salts, minerals, and other substances that increase its mass without significantly increasing its volume. This increased mass causes sea water to be more dense than fresh water, which has a lower concentration of dissolved substances.
Sea water has a higher density than fresh water due to the dissolved salts and minerals present in it. These dissolved substances increase the mass of the water without significantly changing its volume, resulting in a higher density compared to fresh water.
Sea water and fresh water does not have the same density because sea water has salt, which makes it more dense than fresh water Sea water and fresh water does not have the same density because sea water has salt, which makes it more dense than fresh water
- It is a large floating mass of ice, detatched from a glacier and carried out to the sea.- A massive floating body of icebroken from glacier. Only about 10 % of it's mass is above the surface of the water.- HOPE THIS HELPS :D - By aaron_98
Fresh water - sea water kills.
A large mass of ice floating in the sea is called an iceberg. Icebergs typically originate from glaciers or ice shelves and can vary in size, with the visible portion above water often representing only a small fraction of the total ice mass.
A gallon of fresh water is heavier than a gallon of sea water because fresh water is denser than sea water.
the sea is technically floating on the earth, as at the bottom of the sea there are techtonic plates.. Our oceans are just gigantic canyons that are filled to the brim with water.
Sea water is salt water.
Put it in the sea.
