The flylead (or patch cord) is the cable that connects the network card in your computer to a network point on the wall. If you don't already have one of these you can buy one from the Information Technology Division in Struben building. If you're bringing your own flylead, please make sure that it conforms to Category 5 (they're usually marked Cat5 or Cat5e).
