Many Indians still live on reservations where they were relocated to. (Not exact wording, but you should get it.)
One major disadvantage that African Americans faced in achieving economic and social gains in the US was the legacy of slavery and systemic racism. They experienced centuries of enslavement and segregation, which deprived them of educational opportunities, economic resources, and political power. This disadvantage was not experienced to the same extent by other ethnic groups, allowing them to accumulate wealth and influence more easily.
It was called "Segregation" in US
Everywhere.
Segregation was a constant form of humiliation to Blacks. It was a group of people using every measure possible to prove the inferiority of another group of people. Segregation was more serious than we can imagine with our modern minds, so it's hard for us today to conceptualize it.

Segregation.
Many Ethnic groups are being segregated against still, although in the US and other western countries it is likely more social discrimination than legal discrimination. While segregation is undoubtedly a major issue, there is controversy and varying opinions on ethnicity and segregation, and beliefs held by some people that ethnicities are purposefully "self-segregating".
The start of segregation collides with the end of the Civil War which was in 1865. However, blacks and whites were separated before that.
