Airlines have a program to reward passengers that fly a lot. The passenger is assigned a membership number that is used when booking a flight. This allows the airline to track mileage flown by that person. In return for giving their business to a certain airline, the passenger can earn free flights, upgrades, etc. The membership number may be known as a frequent flyer number, SkyMiles number, etc.

If you're asking whether or not you can simply give your account to someone else, and have it become their account, the answer is absolutely NO NO NO. But some airlines will let you transfer some miles to a different person, for a fee. Or, if you have enough for a free ticket you can put that ticket in someone else's name. Policies vary by airline, so you need to call your airline.
