A fulcrum is made for a variety of reaons, but mostl commonly it is the centerpoint for first-class, second-class, and third-class levers. Some of their uses include lifting things with less effort (cranes are an example), and to weigh things (equal-arm and unequal-arm scales and balances used in science classes and such).

the fulcrum is in the circle, or where they meet.
A fulcrum in a lever is very important because without a fulcrum a lever isn't a lever , and the fulcrum is the main part of a lever.
