The term for the circular depression at the summit of a volcano is called a "caldera." It is formed by the collapse of the central part of the volcano after a massive eruption has emptied the magma chamber beneath it. Calderas can vary in size and shape depending on the volcano.
a dome volcano is not the same as a cone volcano. a dome volcano is a type of volcano, is a roughly circular mound-shaped protrusion resulting from the slow extrusion of viscous lava from a volcano. Usually it extrudes very slowly, but constantly. A cone volcano has an appearance of an upside-down funnel with a hole in the top which the lava shoots out of.

To create a bubbly volcano demonstration, mix vinegar and red food coloring in a plastic bottle, then add baking soda by using a funnel. The reaction of vinegar (acid) with baking soda (base) produces carbon dioxide gas, creating bubbles and the "volcanic eruption" effect.
Usually the stronger the tornado the larger the funnel but this is not always the case.
