Best Answer

Gases are composed of an atomic element or an atomic molecule. Oxygen is O2 a molecule, as is CO2 carbon dioxide. Xenon, Xe is an atom, as is Hydrogen, H. The isotope is named protium, but almost always called hydrogen. A gas can be a molecule or an atom.

Our most common gaseous mixture, our atmosphere is composed of many, many gases. Some are elements, like Nitrogen and Argon, and others like Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide (a man made pollutant) are molecules.

What happens to the molecules of water vapor when the temperature of the gass cools to 100 degrees celecies?

Not sure what celecies means. If the temperature falls to 100 degrees Celsius, then at normal atmospheric pressure, the vapour molecules will condense into liquid water.
