For many boys, one of the most exciting times of the year is coming up with a new costume idea, dressing up, and going trick or treating or to a party with their friends. While dressing up for Halloween will always be fun, many parents may find that purchasing a new costume every year can be expensive. Luckily, there are many different ways that you can save money on a boy's Halloween costume. One way to save money on a boy's Halloween costume would be to try and buy a used costume. Many of the most traditional and popular boys costumes will continue to be popular from one year to the next. Because of the recurring popularity, you may be able to find a used costume that is a year or two old from someone looking to sell a costume that their boy no longer fits into. Used costumes are normally available for just a small percentage of the price of an identical new one. However, be sure to fully examine the costume to ensure that it is both clean and in decent condition. People can also save a lot of money on their boy's Halloween costume by making their own costume. Most of the most basic boy's costumes can be easily replicated at home using items of clothing that you already own. By completing some simple alterations, and adding on some cheap accessories, you could make a costume that rivals an identical one sold in a costume store for much more money. Simply planning well in advance is another way to save a lot of money on a Halloween costume. While their tastes may change, you should ask the boy what they want to dress up as a few months in advance. If you are able to start shopping for the costume a few months prior to the start of the Halloween season, you could avoid the heavy markups that are charged during the month of October. While most costume stores will not be open yet, many online retailers will have a full selection 12 months per year.
little red riding hood is a nice idea, but if u want it to be more scary, make wolf claws across teh face :) Another good one is a boy :P
A good Halloween costume for a teenage girl would be: a dead fairy or a zombie cheerleader mostly anything sorta dead that is so kewl. For a boy: Scream or anything scary. Remember you can trick or treat at any age your never to young for all the fantastic candy!
There is not a specific costume that is the best for an 8-year-old boy, the best thing to do is to explore his interests and then allow him to pick a costume of a character that is interesting to him.
For a girl, a poodle skirt. For a boy, a black leather jacket and hair gel.
Go for a preepy school girl it easy and fun!
