Yes, many people teach their children to swim at age 2 or even younger. Because children this young are usually less fearful than older children it is often beneficial to teach them at this age. Check with your local YMCA or gym to see if they offer swim classes for your daughter's age group. Yes. Even though It may choke it seems like a good idea. It is a good idea to get all of these hard life leasons done at an early age.
