There are a number of good 'heads', Gallien-Kruger, David Eden (by far the best, and most expensive), SWR working man, but a great sounding speaker cabinet is 4-10s. 4, 10 inch speakers. Hartke makes several great models, especially the ones with aluminum cones.
It really depends on what kind of sound you are after. As a very simple an basic answer for you, if you are speaking JUST the bass by itself without considering your amplification and effects chain, then a Fender P-bass will give you a more retro smooth sound, whilst a MusicMan Stingray will give you a more rock or funk sound. But that's the tip of the iceberg and web those two different basses could be use in multiple different styles. So ... What sound are you looking for??
Its really a opinion statement, Laney, Behringer, Ampeg, and many more. I would really suggest you review and watch videos and chose the one you like best.
There are many places where one could purchase a bass guitar combo amp. The best places where one could purchase a bass guitar combo amp would be places like Amazon and Best Buy.
And If i get a jay turser bass guitar do i need a certain AMP?
Of course, the GB-30 is designed for a bass. In fact, you can play bass without an amp. The only purpose of an amp is to amplify the bass sound. Cheers, Jimmy
check out the bass that the guy in disturbed uses by a brand called traben , through a cheap guitar cable and a microcube amp it blew me away with the heaviness of it.
Your speakers will blow out. A guitar amp is not meant to handle the low register of a bass. Even on a practice amp.
Good question. A bass will work with any bass amp. That's the only restriction, you have to use a bass amp. If you try a regular guitar amp you may over drive it too much and damage the speaker. Hope this helps.
Depends If You Want A Good Bass Sound.^_^

The low frequencies of the bass destroy a guitar amp , so use a bass amp.
Yes, any bass amp works with any bass guitar
This is an opinionated question but my opinion is that the top model of a Gibson Jazz Bass is the best
Gibson, or Fender
