What to get a 14 year old girl for Christmas?

Jewellery is a really good way to start as something small, but the best present I think I gave a 14 year old was a homemade cushion with the letter E (for Evie) on the front.

All you have to do is make a cut - out of a letter / picture that you want to be darker than the rest of the cushion.

Then, using a spray bottle, squirt some Bleach over the cushion and leave for 30 - 40 seconds. (take out the cushion first, so you have just the cover)

Then rinse in a bucket of water and hang to dry.

The stencils can also be leaves, flowers, pebbles etc..

It really depends on the girl and her interest. When my daughter was 14, she wanted electronics (like an iPod and Kindle Fire), art supplies, books, and some makeup items (like nail polish and gloss). She also asked for a couple of items like a tether ball. Gift cards may seem impersonal, but she loved getting them as well.
