Any of them. Dry dog foods are formulated partially to achieve that.
Any time a dog or puppy has blood in their stools, they need to see a veterinarian.
Take the dog to a veterinarian. Soft food isn't a good choice for Pomeranians because they are prone to dental problems- try to switch to hard food as soon as possible.
its probably worms from eating either human food or something else that its not suppose to eat
Its good for your dog.
any food that's good and healthy for you is good and healthy for your dog as well
Pedigree dog food is a very popular dog food company. Is the can and dry food and good could depend on the taste buds of your dog. Not all dogs like the same food just like humans.
that is your own opinion, but i say yes indeed it is!If the dog food is good. And if the idea for the commercial is good.
All food will make your dog defecate, as it's simply the expulsion of the indigestible portions of the dog's food. The amount and consistency of the feces, however, can be affected by the type of food provided. Generally, higher-quality food will be more fully digested and result in smaller stools. Not all foods will affect all dogs in the same way.
It's usually the other way around; anal glands normally express over firm faeces, however when the stools are soft the anal glands may get congested.
Bright red dog stools may be caused by bleeding in the lower part of the digestive tract, or by ingesting something red and undigestible. See your vet for information specific to your dog's situation.
No dry food is good for a dog. Raw fresh meat plus some vegies and carbs along with EFA's and some supplements like calcium, nutritional yeast, lecithin, kelp, and vit.c. The best is to read some books about it and make your own food. Dr. Pitcairn's book " Natural Health For Dogs and Cats" is the best book out there. My opinion is completely different. I have seen dogs on the so called raw diets, some do good and some do not do good. I think it is not a well balanced diet and is not for every dog or person but of course that is just my opinion. Find a good name brand of dry dog food such as Innova or Natural Choice. Stay away from the cheap generic foods you can find in a grocery store. Learn to become a label reader, especially the first 3 ingredients of the dog food label. Look for things like chicken, lamb, turkey "meal" with meal meaning it is from the best parts of the animal. Bad things are "BY PRODUCTS" which means it is from the worst part of the animal, such as beaks, feet, etc. Other things you don't want to see is wheat, corn, soy, other fillers. A good dry food has all the necessary vitamins in it and is a well balanced dog food. There are lots of good dry dog foods out there but some are so very over priced. The ones I named above are good ones that are reasonable in price. You can always give your dog treats with using raw pieces of carrots & other veggies. Check to see how your dog does on the food you pick to feed. The coat should be shiny, stools firm & small, etc. You don't want to see hot spots, loose large stools, dull coat, etc. I have been a breeder of Bullmastiffs (and I also show them so need good shiny coats) since 1982 and I have explored all of the different diets. I am now feeding both Innova and Natural Choice.
