Strangly, the Romans had a very limited selection of first names (praenomen) for males. They are: Appius, Aulus, Decimus, Gaius/Caius, Gnaeus/Cnaeus, Kaeso, Lucius, Manius, Marcus, Publius, Quintus, Sextus, Spurius, Tiberius, Titus, and Vibius. There were a few more rare ones that were only used by certain families (gens).

I wouldn't recomment Spurius, as it casts doubt on the boy's parentage.
