A 'good title' should contain following qualities -

1 - It should be 'to the point ' ,in other words, it should be named according to main theme of the story .

2- It should be 'short' . Avoid long sentences as much as possible.

3- It should be named in such a way that it motivate a person to go ahead & read what's in the story .

4- It may contain difficult words in place of simple ,for example, we can write ' Astonishing Beauty ' in place of 'Beautiful girl' . This will provide the title a lustre.

A title would depend on what the book was about for (e.g the book is about a cat being friendly with a mouse then you could call it "The Cats Best Friend"

5. A pertinent quote may be a good title- witness Far from the Madding Crowd ,

For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Sound and the Fury.

Only you can come up with a good name! Book Titles come from the story, not from some anonymous person on the internet!

Think about your story - what is going on and who are the people involved? A life story should have a title about the person whose life you're talking about.

Titles come from what you've written -- you're doing it backwards to try to think up a title before you write the story!

You're going about it backwards, dear -- the title comes last because it comes out of what you've written. Finish your story and the title will come to you as you write.
