Since bananas are always cheap we add 4 or 5 to milk in the blender. For thicker shakes, toss in a few more. For a change of taste, add strawberries or grapes, especially Concord.
When bananas turn black in the fridge or if you buy overripe at half price, make healthy shakes often. They always taste just as good when blended.
