actually no shotgun is good for a beginner. the shotgun has loads of power in it and would scare the living hell out of anyone who hasn't even used a handgun. buy a small gun first and start to get used to the sound and power because a shotgun is 10x that. take my advice and after you think your ready go out and see whatever shotgun u like the most have fun and be safe. peace out.
