Okay, so I'm not trying to demoralize you; although I have personally found finger picking much more difficult than other techniques. There are a few things you can do which are very generic but THEY WORK! Take a song, any Dire Straits or Tommy Emmanuel song for that matter, and isolate small sections and work on them on a slow tempo. Do this for a whole verse and finally try playing them together. Practice bro, as much as you can if you want to master finger picking and check out some of the Tommy Emmanuel stuff. The bloke has a crazy finger picking technique.

To play a song effectively on the piano, place your hands on the keys with your fingers curved and resting lightly on the keys. Use your fingertips to press the keys smoothly and evenly, keeping your wrists relaxed and level. Practice good hand position and finger placement to play with accuracy and control.
