You need to find what fits well on your shoulder. I'd stick with Guerrilla air and Ninja for the companies however.

Yes, it will not run on Co2
Firstly, all "plastics" used in most paintball guns are composites. Secondly the Etek 3 comes as the ETEK3 LT, which has composite parts, and the ETEK 3 AM which is all metal parts.
This is a personal question but from a neutral standpoint yes. It has very good efficiency as well as a light build. The Etek 2 also has the possibility to be upgraded to resemble an Ego 08
Planet Eclipse Etek 3
The differences are small but significant. The bolts are different. As well as the body styles. The board is are slightly different, making the Etek 2 slightly faster
At bare minimum: the Invert halo too. if you want a perfect fit: Empire prophecy. anything better then that is probably overkill.

The ETEK is a scaled down version of the Ego, in price and performance.
At that price there is only the Proto 2011 and the dangerous powers FX. If you want a spool valve gun, go with the proto, but I believe the ETEK is the best choice.
Turn it on and press start.
An etek ego works by air cycling a piston on a spring loaded valve causing the outer bolt to thrust forward and releasing air. The pressure of air can be controlled by a screw on the bottom of the reg.
