In all Pokemon games as long as you have at least one ghost/dark type and all 6 slots filled with lvl 100 Pokemon then you have the best team.
Ghost/dark types
Dharkrai(event for diamond/platinum)
Sableye(sapphire/ruby/emerald)
if you have AR use walkthrough to get dharkrai
Also to replace the ghost/dark types you can get a shedinja which is unbeatable unless the opponents move is supereffective

Lucario: Level 70-75
Gastrodon: Level 60-65
Uxie: Level 68-70
Garchomp: Level 70-75
I used a team of level 70s, consisting of:
Infernape: 71
Manaphy: 71
Lucario: 76
Weavile:71
Roserade:75
Luxray: 71
...and I still had trouble. I had to use about 20 revives and about 50 Full Restores! All I'm saying is, watch out: Sinnoh's Elite 4 mean business!

Well, this team could be extremely powerful or extremely pathetic; you have to fit it to the scenario. The Pokemon themselves are pretty good and on decent levels, but have you EV or IV trained them? What moves do they know? What natures do they have? All of these come into effect when in battle and when calculating just how strong a Pokemon really is.

you only need dialga in your team but you can if you want when i beat the elite four i had a alakazam staraptor empoleon dialga gengar and rapidash and i beat it in no time at all You don't have to have a dialga in your team. you can go and beat the elite four with no legendary Pokemon at all. i went and beat them without a legendary easily. but i had a level 70 or higher fearow. you don't need one of those either.

its a pretty good team four the elite 4 but watch out for the champions garchomp!!!

I would suggest having your whole team above level 50 so you have a chance to beat the Elite Four. I think the Elite Four Pokemon are at level 50-60, so well trained level 50 Pokemon will be good for the elite four.
