A tablet is basically a board you plug into your computer and use a tablet pen to draw on, or to simply replace the mouse. Wherever you move the pen on the board, the cursor on your screen moves to the same location (ex; if you put the pen at the corner of the tablet board, the cursor moves to the corner of the screen).
