A group of giraffes are called a herd.
Adult male giraffes are called bulls. Their standing height is about 4.8 to 5.5 metres tall and could weigh up to 1,300 kilograms.
Adult female giraffes are called cows. Their standing height is about 4.3 metres somewhat smaller than the male and weighs considerably less than the male.
A young giraffe is called a calf and stands about 2 metres at birth.
