This old traditional Scottish dish, a haggis, contains meats, oatmeal and spices to make a very unusual, rich, yet delicious fare.

Basically, it is the liver, heart and lungs of a sheep, boiled. The meats are mixed with chopped onions, toasted oatmeal, pepper, salt and spices. This is stuffed in a cleaned sheep's stomach and then the stomach is sewn up (with a bit of room for it to expand during cooking). This is then boiled.

It may not sound very exciting, but it really is delicious. Served with "tatties and neeps". (Mashed potato and mashed swede/turnip).

John Haggie teaches that the Jewish people finaced his trip to America. Did the Jews finance Columbus's voyage?

Of course not. It was the Queen and king of Spain. There may have some Jewish taxes involved as were the taxes of other people but the royalty made the decision to do it. Since they found out the world was round they were looking for a sea route to China. Ask John Haggie to prove his statement. That's all I'll say about Haggie. You know anybody can make statements about anything but it doesn't make it true. God bless you! Keep the faith. Sincerely. Ruthie Thomas
