Basically, someone who sleeps a lot. They sleep too long at night, and still feel they need to take more naps during the day. It is not an indication of someone being lazy and it cannot be solved by sleeping less.

A person who sleeps a lot may be referred to as a "hypersomniac." Hypersomnia is a condition characterized by excessive sleepiness during the day or prolonged nighttime sleep. While some individuals may simply enjoy sleeping more than others, excessive sleep can also be a sign of underlying health issues.
