That would, of course, be an astronomer (which is an aptagram of astronomer -- an anagram with a similar meaning)!
You would have to be in college for about 6 years to become an astronomer.

Make a hypothesis

If their data supported their hypothesis, then they would make a conclusion.
A astronomer would look at stars planets and the moon.
A stellar astronomer would specialise in studying stars.
The following step would be to collect data and make observations, so that a hypothesis can be formed.
That would, of course, be an astronomer (which is an aptagram of astronomer -- an anagram with a similar meaning)!
Certainly, you are free to make a hypothesis about anything. For example, I might hypothesize that you would enjoy eating pizza tonight. I don't actually know you, and you have not told me anything about your eating preferences, but even so, I can make that hypothesis. A hypothesis does not have to be true, it only has to be reasonable.
An estimate or a hypothesis.
I believe such an astronomer would have a hard time finding a paid job; he would do it as a hobby, mainly.
When you are using the scientific method, you would try to imagine a hypothesis which explains an observation, but you might not succeed. A hypothesis that does not explain an observation would be considered a failed hypothesis. You would then need to invent a different hypothesis.
No, a hypothesis is merely a possible explanation. The proper scientific approach would be to make a prediction that would be true if the hypothesis were true and false if the hypothesis were false. The next step would be to set up an experiment and see whether the predicted event did or did not occur. In real life, though, it is often the case that one has to look at the probability of an event under the hypothesis that is being tested and an alternative hypothesis.
You have to make your own hypothesis, that is the whole point of a hypothesis.
