It is the game mechanics and logic used to increase the motivation of individuals or users and to ensure their success in a certain subject by adding them to the existing processes of a non-game area. It is the use of many of the elements of the game in a different field outside the game. It enables people or users to interact and increase their motivation towards a certain goal. In this way, the expected behavior change in users is expected to be sustainable and long-term. Interacting is an important point here. In a place where there is no interaction, there is no gamification. Gamification can be used in digital and non-digital environments.

All those games are interactive that take input from the players and return feedback.

Example - a video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback.

Is interactive psychotherapy performed on adults?

Yes and no. Social Work (and in the context which I'm referring to, residential case management) is highly interactive in nature, and when implemented as it is should be (but often isn't), it achieves those same ends as interactive psychotherapy. With all that said, it doesn't make sense to have adults play with Barbie dolls and analyze them while they do it. In a clinical setting, anything that serves as a middle man between the consumer and the therapist is interactive in nature. The consumer knows full well that whatever they're doing is symbolic of the issues he or she faces. While x-activity may be therapeutic in and of itself, the activity is wide open to interpretation.
