The main body is the middle bit. Example: For an essay the most basic structure is as follows: Introduction Paragraph 1. Paragraph 2. .... (etc) Conclusion The paragraphs, being the most important part of the essay, makes what we call the "body." All the interesting events take place in the middle (body) of a short story, which has a fairly simmilar structure. As for poems, the whole thing is the "body." Dear Questioner. I have my own thing. I looked up the same thing you did but found nothing. So here's what I think are the steps in writing a book #1-PREWRITING- This is time where you can get all your thoughts, ideas, and comments on a piece of paper or on the computer screen. so if you have anything that you want to put in your book write it down or type it out. #2-DRAFTING- Now you want to get out pieces of paper all of your ideas. Now your going to take those splendid ideas and turn them into sentences, paragraphs, or chapters! It DOES NOT have to be perfect in any way. It's just a start. #3-REVISING- Now take out that draft that you already created and begin all the changes possibley. Actually revising is when you make your big changes. Ex: Switching your chapters around. #4-EDITING- Grammar, mechanics, and spelling mistakes should befixed at this time and no time later. After you've done all this you might to rewrite or retype andrevise and edit again. If not type or write it for the finally copy I also Have another technic that my writing teacher just taught me.first create a brief outline of the storyline of your book. Using index cards and a pencil, write a chapter number on the top of the index card. Then put a shor describtion of the chapter on the Index card. Then you may go back and change anything with the chapters. thanks sin. Emily
Coleta ('tt' rare in Spanish) = queue of the hair cortarse la coleta = to quit the (bull) ring 'Coleta' also means a postscript, or short addition to a piece of writing.
Margie is eleven and Tommy is thirteen. The story is set in the year 2157, so as of this writing (2011), they haven't been born yet. :)
It means that the cause must come before the effect. For example, the stoplight turns red (cause) before the car stops (effect), so the cause is written before the effect. Linear order.
Postscript is a noun. It refers to an additional piece of writing added after the main body of a letter or document.
They break up the monotony of a piece of writing.
