Motor Generator
Should be spelled "tidal". It is a mechanical device that converts the energy from tides (ocean tides) into electricity.
They don't. An electric motor is designed to convert electrical energy to kinetic energy, not the other way round. A device that converts kinetic energy to electrical energy is called a generator or a dynamo. Sometimes the same device can do both things (convert in both directions), but since the device is especially optimized for one function, it may not be very good at the other one.
An incandescent light bulb does that, as does a radiant heating element. A light-emitting diode (LED) also generates light from electricity from the excitation of a semiconductor junction. A fluorescent bulb can be used to create light from electricity by stimulating the chemical to fluoresce. Gaseous bulbs can generate light from electricity, such as a neon/argon/halogen bulb with a high-voltage applied to the gas inside.

Laptop Battery can be any device that stores energy for later use. The word battery is limited to an electrochemical device that converts chemical energy into electricity, by use of a galvanic cell. A galvanic cell is a fairly simple device consisting of two electrodes (an anode and a cathode) and an electrolyte solution. Batteries consist of one or more galvanic cells. A Laptop Battery is an electrical storage device. Latop Batteries do not make electricity, they store it. As chemicals in the battery change, electrical energy is stored or released. In rechargeable batteries this process can be repeated many times. For more info, please click below link: www.batteriesstore.co.uk

Sounds like a turbine to me.
In electricity generation, an electric generator is a device that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. A generator forces electric current to flow through an external circuit.

The rocket engine is the device that converts chemical energy into the mechanical energy. A firecracker also converts chemical energy into mechanical energy.
