I have seen them go for $500 and even up to $1000 but it is just a matter of who you sell it to
All you can get! If any of you out there have any ammo or unfired rifles still in the factory box, that you whant to cash in, let me know. Thanks, Craig cdavis3697@juno.com
I got mine (still new in the box now) in '86 for about $500 - it recently listed on an online auction (without the commemorative ammo, which is about $100/box) for about $1900.
What is it worth
If new in the box(unfired) and with the correct hang tags and box, then the value will be 1,595 dollars.
Winchester repeating arms company. it was a custom model l894. the large loop was a sort of prop making it stand out on film.
brand new with all paper work and box in unfired condition is $1200 to $1400
As it is a 1892 Winchester rifle and used by John Wayne or Duke it will be very precious and a costly item.
The john Wayne colt and Winchester were both issued in 1981 for the Winchester and 1982 for the colt. The colt is a SAA standard in which 3,100 were manufactured in 1982. The Winchester going by serialization is a Canadian john Wayne which the the proper serial number should indicate CJW928(not CJWC928). with 1,000 of these manufactured in 1981. You can contact me at lgood303 at yahoo if you have any further questions on these. I am a commemorative collector and your items are somewhat appealing to me if you ever choose to part ways with them. Thank you. Lance
It has only shooter's value. There is no real collector interest.
The collector rifle can be found in the collectors edition or in the Recons Operation Pack
Wayne McLerran has written: 'Browning model 1885 black powder cartridge rifle' -- subject(s): Browning rifles, Muzzle-loading firearms
44.40 carbine, and a 38.40 pistol...He carries a "Large Loop" short barrel carbine model 92 Winchester repeating rifle.
Your rifle was manufactured in 1972. The value will depend on condition. Have it appraised by a collector or gunsmith.
Winchester made the model 1873 rifle and the model 1876 rifle, but did not make a model 1875 rifle.
A Winchester model 1894 produced in 1901 can range in price from 350-2,000 dollars depending on the overall condition of your rifle, and any special features that could have been ordered at the time of production.I would choose to have a rifle of this vintage apprasied by a Winchester collectors assoc.member or a well respected gun collector to establish a price for your vintage Winchester model 1894.This model has quite a bit of collector value.
If new in the box(unfired) and with the correct hang tags and box, then the value will be 1,595 dollars.
15-125 USD or so $50-150 USD. They have no collector value. It's value is as a shooter, depending on condition.
The potential collector value for your Model 64 can not be determined without first knowing which specific variant that it is (e.g. Sporting rifle, Deer Rifle, Carbine, or Deluxe Carbine), and what the graded condition is. In order to determine the graded condition, it must be visually inspected and evaluation. Bert H.
You may have a Remington-Keene Magazine rifle. There are model variations and different conditions which make a valuation difficult but the range is $150 for poor up to $4500 for a Navy model in VG condition. Have a Remington collector appraise it.
Winchester used to call a rifle that disassembled into two parts-their "takedown model." If your rifle is a "takedown" rifle, it's a paratrooper model. Could be a Type 38 (6.5mm) or a Type 99 (7.7mm), then if it's a takedown...it might have another designation; like Type 2 (as an example). If it's in original condition (and good condition), they could go about 2 thousand dollars to a collector.
