A large wheel connected to a smaller wheel is a simple machine.
A Penny Farthing
Same way as any gear set does. If you have a large wheel(more teeth) driving a smaller wheel(fewer teeth), then the smaller wheel will spin faster, but with less force. If you have a small wheel driving a big wheel, then the big wheel will spin slower but stronger.
Yes, a turbine is a large wheel that rotates when pushed by water, wind, or steam. It is connected to the dynamo (alternator) that generates electric power.
yes . imagine a big gear (which is connected to a small gear) turning one round, the smaller gear turns...10 rounds perhaps? If a big gear is attached to a motor and than a small gear is connected to it as a wheel, the vehicle will move around ten times faster than when the wheel gear is big.
3 (1 large ground connected to frame, and 2 smaller ones to the solenoid)
The engine rotates the principle drive at a constant velocity - this is connected to the final drive by way of a thick rubber belt which runs around between the principle drive's fixed diameter wheel and the final drive's variable diameter wheel. Imagine two cones placed together point to point. By moving these cones apart as the speed increases the belt drives a smaller and smaller diameter of the cones tips - the effect being very similar to a derailleur gear on a racing bicycle - large front / large rear = low gear, large front / small rear = high gear.
why is it importantthat large artery is connected to the heart
The larger the wheels have a higher center of mass than a smaller one. The higher the center of mass, the smaller the tilt needed to cause the wheel's center of mass to move outside its base and cause the wheel to roll over.
The pinion wheel is smaller than the spur wheel in single purchase crab because it is the one that drives the spur wheel.
cnhabJKZ Yes. If the wheel and axel are connected so the they both turn together, then a small force applied to the large wheel will produce a larger force on the smaller axel. Example; wrap a string around a 12 inch (radius)wheel. wrap another string in the opposite direction around its 2 inch (radius) axel. Pull on the wheel string with a force of one pound, then the axel string will pull with a force of 6 pounds. The formula is; applied force on large wheel x its radius = pulling force on small axel x its radius ( F) x (2 in) = (1 lb) x (12 in) F = 6 lb
The large intestine does connect to the rectum.
Battery + cable should be connected to large terminal on solenoid Starter cable should be connected to other side of solenoid (if so equipped) Trigger wire should be connected to smaller terminal (if 2 on replacment part disregard 2nd)
