This is where your implant has migrated to the side towards the armpit. I believe it's the same concept as bottoming out, but side to side. From what I've read, I think this complication has more to do with the over dissection of the pocket, whereas bottoming out can be a combination of that and gravity.

The lateral femoral condyle discourages lateral displacement of the patella. This condyle is the knob of the thighbone on the lateral side.

What angle has the same horizontal displacment as 20 degrees?

20 degrees is a measure of angular displacement. This cannot be converted to lateral (horizontal) displacement.

It will increase

What is rearward amplification?

This is a specifics phenomenon that affect Long Combinations of Vehicles (LCV). It is the increase of lateral displacement of the last vehicle when comparated with the lateral displacement of the tractor vehicle in curves and evasive maneuvers. In consequent of this rear amplification, the last unit is exposed to highest lateral acceleration, and can rollover, taking with it the another vehicles of combination

How can the lateral displacement of the emergent ray with respect to incident ray in glass slab be increased?

Lateral displacement increases if the: 1. Angle of incidence is increased. 2. Refractive index is increased 3. Thickness of the medium( i.e. here in your case the glass block) is increased.

Does a squid have a lateral line?

They do not have a lateral line but at least some have a lateral line analogue, the epidermal head lines, that are compromised of mechanosensory hair cells and detect water displacement (Budelmann & Bleckmann 1988, J Comp Physiol A)
