The latitudinal diversity gradient refers to the observed pattern that biodiversity tends to be higher in tropical regions near the equator and decreases toward the poles. This phenomenon is attributed to various factors, including climate stability, habitat diversity, and evolutionary history. The warmer temperatures and greater availability of resources in tropical areas support a wider variety of species, while harsher conditions in polar regions limit biodiversity. Overall, this gradient highlights the relationship between latitude and species richness across the globe.

My country is England, the latitudinal extent of India is not at all advantageous to my country.
In terms of forest diversity, Australia has a greater latitudinal range, and will probably have a greater species variety. In addition, the forest in the Cape York Peninsula in the sub-tropics,will have a great diversity, as is typical for tropical forest. These are not species numbers, but the general direction should be sound. Sorry I can't do better.
Russia has the greatest latitudinal extent, spanning from about 41 degrees north to 81 degrees north.
Longitudinal extension:68o7'E to 97o25'E Latitudinal extension :8o4'N to 37o6'N
Canada shares the same latitudinal lines as the United Kingdom.
Longitudinal extension 74degree E to 135degree E Latitudinal extension from 18degree N to 54degree N
Latitudinal extent refers to angular distance. It's in degrees south or north to the equator and is equal to the angle at the center of the globe.
Latitudinal extent = 12'N and 56'S Longitudinal extent = 35'W and 81'W
