What is a liquid?
Liquid is one of the four states of matter (the others are
solid, gas and plasma). A liquid has a definite volume (unlike a
gas) and no definite shape (unlike a solid).
The word "fluid" is often used in everyday speech as a synonym
for "liquid", but in chemistry a fluid is defined by its ability to
flow, and thus the word encompasses both liquids and gases.
Actually it is apart of the three states of matter solid and gas
and liquid the rest is right
