The story begins with the revelation that Seattle is being plagued by a string of unsolved murders, which Edward suspects are being caused by a vampire that is unable to control its thirst. Edward and Bella fill out college applications, while Bella explains to Edward her desire to see Jacob Black, her werewolf friend, again. Meanwhile, Alice Cullen has a vision that Victoria, a vampire who is hunting Bella for revenge, is back in town. Although Edward fears for her safety, Bella insists that Jacob and the rest of the werewolf pack would never harm her, and he eventually allows her to visit Jacob once in a while. A few days later, Edward proposes to Bella and, despite having an aversion to marriage, she accepts. Bella and the Cullens realize that the murders in Seattle are being committed by an "army" of newborn vampires, controlled by Victoria. The Cullen family joins forces with the werewolf pack in order to combat this threat. As everyone else prepares for battle, Edward, Bella, and Jacob camp up in the mountains, hidden during the battle, where they are later joined by Seth Clearwater, a young member of the werewolf pack, to wait out the fight. In the morning, Jacob overhears Edward and Bella discussing their engagement and becomes very upset. He threatens to join the fight and get himself killed. To stop him, Bella kisses Jacob and realizes that she is in love with him. Victoria tracks Edward's scent to Bella, and Edward is forced to fight. After Victoria and her army are successfully destroyed, Bella explains to Jacob that while she loves him, her love for Edward is greater. After receiving a wedding invitation from Edward, Jacob runs away in his wolf form to escape the pain he feels, angry at Bella's decision to become a vampire.
Not long enough. It was never properly drafted.
Eclipse will probably be iin the cinemas in November 2010 because that's how long it has taken for the first two books to be made into films:]
Not as long as Stephenie posted it on her website herself.
The book is 563 pages long.
It says in Eclipse when Charlie is taking Bella to the graduation party, that the Cullen's driveway is 3 miles long.
Stephenie Meyer hasn't even written it yet, as far as us as fans know. If she has though, it won't be released for a long time.
The paperback version, including the epilogue, is 498 pages. Without the epiloge, it is 480 pages long.
Before she wrote it.OK I don't, but not long before she wrote it!
this book was not out for that long so therefore there is not an anwer yet
Stephenie Meyer has said that twilight was a very hard book to name. it took a long time, talking with her publisher, and finally deciding on that. she wasn't totally happy with it, but during the book, edward said that twilight was the safest time of day for them. new moon was named, because Stephenie Meyer said she thought her fans were looking for a time of day. a new moon is the darkest night, and that time was the darkest period of Bella's life. in eclipse, towards the end, Bella says to Jacob that she used to think of him like her personal sun, he leveled out the clouds nicely. he responded with "clouds i can handle but i cant fight with an eclipse". he was talking of edward, and how edward is Bella's life now. :) breaking dawn was in reference to the beginning of Bella's vampire life.
On page 23 of Breaking Dawn above it you will see, 2. Long Night
no - i wish though ________ Yes. It's coming, but a long way off. Patience.
