I believe you are speaking of your lymph node if it hurts and is swollen you may have an infection and need to see a doctor. Most of the time when you have a sinus infection, cold, flu, strep throat etc... the lymph nodes will swell up causing pain. I would suggest seeing a doc for treatment.
