Nuclear plants use fissionable material to generate heat
instead of burning fossil fuel for the same purpose. The
fissionable fuel is in the core of a nuclear reactor, and this core
and the associated elements of the nuclear plant allow us to tap
nuclear energy via nuclear fission.
The USA uses the most nuclear energy. There is the highest
number of Nuclear Power Plants in the world. The reason is simple:
USA needs energy and the easiest way to get it is building nuclear
Nuclear energy makes up 80% of France's energy intake. The USA
has over 100 power plants and many countries are building more
nuclear power plants (like India and China.) Poland is starting on
Nuclear energy in 2020.
