Speed is equal to distance divided by time
Algebraically s = d/t
To do this mechanically, you need a clock/watch to measure the time. and some form of distance measure e.g. ruler, or mile posts.
In a motor car you have the speedometer and odometer. They measure the speed at any given moment, and the distance travelled.
speed
Temperature.
How fast something moves is the speed. Airplanes are one of fastest moving objects in the world, and cheetahs are one of the fastest animals.
a simple definition of tempersture is the measure of how fast particles in an object are moving or the measure of how hot an object is
Velocity, or Speed
The distance it covers in a unit of time.
speed
anemometers
Temperature.
Friction
Temperature is the measure of how fast particles are moving in an object.
How fast something moves is the speed. Airplanes are one of fastest moving objects in the world, and cheetahs are one of the fastest animals.
velocity (distance/time)
That is very fast. You would be moving the distance of a football field every second.
a simple definition of tempersture is the measure of how fast particles in an object are moving or the measure of how hot an object is
Velocity is how fast and what direction. The formula for this is distance over time, indicating the direction. (North East, South or West.) Speed is how fast something is moving. Speed is like velocity except velocity indicates direction. The formula is distance divided by time. Hope that helps. :)
Miles per hour (MPH).Kilometres per hour (KPH).
