A military war game,is military,of course, but it can be anything from KaW,for those of you who play it,to Empire Total War, which uses a wide variety of weapons that you could/can buy,and many buildings you can build to GET these weapons (this is not a first person shooter,or player game) You control everything from a high view, unless you want to go lower, and you can get better technologies to help you build better weapons for your troops, and for your navies, you can build sloops to brigs to soft air gun men,but it all depends on the technology
This is what a good war game is like...
Yes there is or are also military soldiers in Frontlines Fuel of War. It's about the American Western Coalition military vs the Russian military in the war. It's World war 3 but the Americans got into the war with the Russians. They also send in vehicles like military aircraft, tanks, fast moving ground vehicles and helicopters.

Both the Forever War and Starship Troopers are futuristic war stories that deal more with individual soldiers. Also, John Scalzi's Old Man's War series is similar in the fact that it is military SF. In my opinion, though, Ender's Game is completely original and there is nothing else like it.
John K. Setear has written: 'A political-military game of protracted conventional war in Europe' -- subject(s): Protracted conflicts (Military science), Simulation methods, War games
it means get the military ready for war
