In the sense of leaves falling from trees, there is no Autumn in India. At this point of the year , they have at the start the Monsoon season. (Hot & wet), towards the end of Autumn their Monsoon season changes to a cool dry period. NB THe word 'Monsoon' means 'season' in the Hindi language. In India, they tend to have three seasons. A cool dry period, followed by an increasing hot dry period, followed by the hot wet period (Monsoon). They the cool dry period recommences.
